Corporate Lawyer (Junior) (University/Higher Professional Education)

You have a (recently) completed university or higher professional education in law and are looking for the first or second step in your career. With us, you will help the Dutch business community secure the best contracts and agreements. We understand that you won't know and understand everything on your first day of work. That is why you will be coached daily, and we will eventually train you to become a true corporate lawyer.

Your day starts with a short stand-up with your team. Three telephone intakes are scheduled for today. These include a solar panel installer, a webshop in the process of being established, and a medical consultant. A nice variety of conversations! Furthermore, last week you delivered a starter package for a consultancy firm from Lutjebroek. Today you will review the client's feedback and finalize their contracts. Additionally, you are scheduled to draft a partnership agreement. Exciting, because it is the first time. Shaeene will help you with that. There are also a few sets of general terms and conditions waiting for you. An interesting workday awaits you. Oh yes, there is cake. I should just ask what there is to celebrate.
You will be working in a small but close-knit team. Together, you ensure that entrepreneurs receive sound legal support. You do this in plain language. Contracts and legal documents are drafted, amended, or reviewed for the entrepreneurs. You therefore ensure that the work is carried out on time and correctly. In this position, you play a central role, both internally and externally. Thanks to your knowledge and experience gained over time, you know exactly how to apply private law in various legal fields. You are capable of performing tasks independently, but you also enjoy being part of a team. In the future, you can specialize in a legal field or take the next step in your career internally.

• A completed legal higher professional or university education, or a talented advanced student in a university law program
• An excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written
• That someone can perfectly translate legal jargon into language that entrepreneurs understand
• Results-oriented, you respect deadlines and are driven to provide the client with the best work every time
• Someone who can execute tasks well independently but can also deliver top performance as part of a team
• Full-time availability is possible, but a part-time contract of at least 24 hours per week is negotiable
